Heavy rain and snow across central parts easing through Tuesday

Monday
Mostly dry across Iberia but with increased cloud cover in the west. Dry and fine with sunshine for the Balearic islands. Cloudier across Corsica while largely sunny and warm feeling across Sardinia. Dry for both. Showery rain for much of northern and central Italy, drier in the south. Largely dry, fine and very warm across Greece and Turkey.
Still wet and generally unsettled across central France with thundery, heavy rain. While heavy snowfall continues across the Alps into northern parts of Italy. Drier across northern France with only a few scattered showers affecting the Low Countries and southern Germany. The south of France too largely dry, fine and warm. Any showery rain clearing away from the Balkans States.
Some showery rain affecting northern regions of Norway and Sweden, while heavier rainfall continues to affect parts of south Finland. Dry with sunny spells elsewhere across Scandinavia.

Tuesday
Cloud and rain pushes in across Spain and Portugal, heaviest rainfall towards the north and through Portugal as well as central areas of Spain. Dry and fine for the Balearic islands, much of Italy and the surrounding islands. Greece and Turkey also look to stay dry, sunny and warm.
Largely dry with sunshine across France today as well as the Low Countries though feeling cooler here. Some heavy rainfall towards southern regions of Germany, drier further north. Scattered showers across Switzerland and Austria with still snow over higher ground, though improving later in the day. Largely dry across Poland with sunny spells.
Chilly across Scandinavia with a mix of rain and snow showers across Norway into parts of Sweden though Sweden will be mostly dry. Largely dry too across Finland, the Baltics and Denmark with sunny spells.
