Cold in eastern Europe but fair in the Mediterranean
A dry but rather overcast day for much of Portugal, Spain and the Balearics though cloud should clear through the afternoon. Overcast too for Sardinia and Corsica with the chance of a shower but dry and fine for much of Italy away from the Adriatic coast. Heavy showers continue on Tuesday for southern Greece and western Turkey.
A dry and fine day for much of France though cloud will spill in to northeastern areas from the North Sea and Benelux through the late morning and early afternoon. Overcast too for Germany with the increasing chance of wintry showers further to the east and south. Wintry showers too for the Czech Republic and southern and western parts of Poland.
A windy but dry and fine day for Denmark though cloud will linger along the coasts. Overcast for the Balkans with a chance of a wintry shower in Latvia and Estonia but staying mainly dry for Lithuania. Mainly dry too for southern Finland where it will be a rather dull day. Southern Sweden has an east-west split: overcast with wintry showers in the east, dry and bright in the west. The dry and bright weather extends to southern Norway too.
Fair for Portugal and Spain with plenty of sunshine. Staying fine in the Balearics but some showers for Corsica and Sardinia. Heavy showers or longer spells of rain affecting Italy. Greece should be fine with plenty of sunshine. Staying fair in much of Turkey although there will be some showers to the east.
Mostly fair in France once morning mist and fog patches have cleared. The Low Countries and Germany should be cold and dry. Chilly too in Poland with some snow in the east. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland will b dry and cold.
A breezy day with some snow flurries in Denmark. Breezy and cold again in the Baltic States and Finland. Remaining cold in Sweden and in Norway too.
