Heavy rain and cool for Germany and Poland

Sunday
Largely dry throughout Spain and Portugal, although a few local thunderstorms cannot be ruled out towards the far east. Highs of 31 to 34C in central and southern Spain; 22 to 24C on northern coasts. Dry and feeling very warm across the Balearics. A few showers for southern parts of Italy and the Balkan states but Greece and Turkey will be hot and dry.
Showery rain for eastern regions of France but dry with sunshine elsewhere, warm in the southwest, approaching 30C. Sunny spells and showers for Belgium and the Netherlands, some heavy and perhaps thundery. Periods of heavy rain for Germany, especially in the north, but thundery showers will break out widely. Areas of rain and showers affect Poland, Romania and western Ukraine. Sunshine and showers for Switzerland and Austria.
Scandinavia is influenced by high pressure and will stay mainly dry, although far southern regions of Sweden and Denmark will be breezy with some showers.

Monday
High pressure stays situated toward the northwest, whilst low pressure influences central and eastern Europe. Slack pressure over Spain results in warm temperatures but a few thundery showers breaking out in the east. Dry for most of France, warmest in the southwest, up to 30C. A few showers in eastern France. Mainly dry and warm for Italy, the Balkans and Greece. Sunny around the Black Sea too.
A northeasterly breeze affects northern France and the Low Countries, with sunshine and showers. Frequent bursts of rain across Germany, the Alps and Czech Republic, feeling rather cool. Some longer spells of heavy rain affecting Poland. Showers for Slovakia, Ukraine and Belarus.
Much of Scandinavia remains dry and sunny, although a southwesterly breeze brings showers to northern Norway. Warm temperatures in southern Norway and locally in western Sweden, 25C in places.
