High pressure gradually building across Europe


Tuesday
Scattered thunderstorms forming across northern Spain but most of Iberia will be hot and dry. It remains hot across the Mediterranean, including Italy, Greece and much of Turkey, although expect thundery showers to the east.
Much of France will be dry with well scattered showers. Local showers forming over the Alps. Thundery bursts near the Black Sea, plus Romania and central areas of Ukraine. Much of the Balkan region will be dry and staying hot.
Showery for much of Scandinavia with some slow-moving downpours, mixed with locally sunnier weather in southern Norway. Frequent rain for northern Germany, Poland and Denmark. A few passing showers for southern Germany and the Czech Republic.


Wednesday
Scattered thunderstorms again will affect some northern into central regions of Spain, Portugal staying dry and fine. Dry through the Balearics and much of Italy although a local isolated shower in the southeast cannot be completely ruled out. Dry and hot across Greece and Turkey. Thunderstorms developing across Bulgaria.
Another largely dry day for France, one or two showers in the far south. The Low Countries and Germany also looking to be mainly dry and feeling warm, possibly though one or two showers cannot be completely ruled out. Mainly dry for Switzerland but showers and thunderstorms for Austria. Thunderstorms developing through Croatia and Bosnia into Serbia. Largely dry for Poland.
Improving from the south across Norway and Sweden. Staying showery further north though. Showers largely clearing across Finland. Thunderstorms look to continue throughout the day through the Baltic States. A dry and fine day for Denmark.
