Showery rain, in places thundery, across north and east Europe

Saturday
Iberia staying mainly dry and hot. Scattered thunderstorms across Italy but mainly dry conditions here. One or two could extend out to surrounding islands. Largely dry for Greece and Turkey and still hot here.
Showery rain for eastern regions of France but dry with sunshine elsewhere. Sunny spells and showers for the Low Countries while widespread thunderstorms develop across central parts of Germany. Thundery heavy rain for parts of Switzerland into western Austria. Eastern Europe also seeing developing thunderstorms. Mostly dry across Poland but far northern and far southern regions perhaps more exposed to thundery showers.
Scandinavia is looking largely settled into the weekend. Showery rain though still expected to affect the Baltic States as wll as parts of southern Sweden. A few showers across mainly southern regions of Denmark but drier further north with sunny spells.

Sunday
Largely dry throughout Spain and Portugal, although a few local thunderstorms cannot be ruled out towards the far east. Dry and feeling very warm across the Balearics. A few scattered showers for southern parts of Italy in particular. Dry and hot for Greece and Turkey.
Showery rain for eastern regions of France but dry with sunshine elsewhere. Sunny spells and showers for the Low Countries, some heavy and perhaps thundery. Thundery showers for Germany but many places dry. Rather unsettled across Poland with rain and thunderstorms. Heavier spells of rain easing across Switzerland and Austria. Largely dry down the Balkans.
Scandinavia benefitting from the higher pressure therfore a largely dry scene, although far southern regions of Sweden will see some showers. Denmark though more unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain.
