Increasingly wet and windy across western Europe.
Fair for Portugal and Spain on Thursday with dry weather and plenty of sunshine. Some showers and cloud in the Balearics. Corsica and Sardinia staying dry with more sunshine. Heavy showers affecting much of central and southern Italy, particularly around Sicily, whilst the north should be staying dry. Greece will have some showers in the south and east. Turkey should be fair with good spells of sunshine, apart from northern coasts where there will be showers.
More sunshine to come in southern France where it will be dry with plenty of sunshine throughout. Breezy in the far north of France as well as in the Low Countries and northern Germany, with heavy showers and longer spells of rain pushing east through the afternoon. Rain clears eastern Poland with a largely dry day here. Mainly dry across Austria, Hungary and much of the Balkans.
Wet and windy through Denmark and southern and central Norway on Friday. Rain through much of the southern half of Sweden though drier further north. The Baltic States as well as Finland remaining largely dry and fair.
Largely dry across Spain and Portugal, however cloud will thicken and rain will push in to the far northwest later. One or two isolated showers cannot be ruled out over the Balearic Islands. Showers or longer spells of rain still for Sicily and parts of central Italy, otherwise largely dry aross Italy. A few scattered showers for the Greek islands but mostly dry elsewhere here as well as Turkey.
A band of rain, heavy for a time, pushes southeastwards across France and the Low Countries into western regions of Germany. Winds will also strengthen. Breezy and cloudy through the rest of Germany and Switzerland. Dry and fair across Austria, Poland as well as the Balkan States.
Windy across Scandinavia with showery rain affecting Norway and Sweden. Dry for Finland as well as the Baltic States. Windy and increasingly wet across Denmark.
