Cold northern Europe with showers, drier in the Mediterranean with sunshine and dry weather
Storms are likely to break out further south across Spain and Portugal, most widespread later in the day. Staying dry for northern Spain and the Balearics. Odd showers for central Italy and southern Greece, but most of the Mediterranean continues to see fine weather.
Dry with sunshine and early fog across France, Switzerland and northern Italy. Patchy light rain for Austria. Scattered heavier showers across eastern Europe. Areas of showers too for central and eastern Germany. Chance of a shower for the Low Countries. Staying cool across central and eastern Europe with a northerly breeze.
A ridge of high pressure extends into Scandinavia bringing mostly fine and sunny conditions to Sweden and Norway, perhaps some rain in the far west later. Showers around the Baltic. Mainly dry for Finland but a chilly northerly wind.
Heavy thunderstorms forming in the southern half of Spain on Wednesday, extending into the southern half of Portugal too. Fair in the Balearics and most of Corsica and Sardinia. Scattered showers in central Italy, otherwise dry and fair. Showers for western Greece, with isolated showers over southern coasts of Turkey.
France will be fair with plenty of sunshine and it should be dry here too. The Low Countries should be dry sunny. More sunshine to come across all parts of Germany. Poland could see an area of showers push south and will be cold. Scattered showers in Hungary, but dry and fair for Austria and Switzerland.
Fair through Denmark with sunshine here. Some showers and cooler weather in Denmark. Finland my have an isolated showers but should be dry overall. Sweden is also likely to be dry. Breezy in western Norway, some showers ot the north but dry in the south.
