Showers central Europe, mostly fair Mediterranean
Much of Spain and Portugal will be dry with sunshine, but expect showers in the northwest again, and perhaps a local thundery burst over southern Spain. Thunderstorms will pop up over southern France, the Alps and northern Italy during the daytime, a scattering of showers possible toward eastern Italy, but much of the Mediterranean coasts and islands will see a dry, sunny and warm day. Likewise fine for Greece, Turkey and the Balkans.
Showery for northern France and the Low Countries, some thundery bursts running into western Germany, but eastern areas should stay dry. Plenty of dry weather extends across eastern Europe and into Scandinavia, plenty of sun around the Baltic. Local showers for Czechia and Hungary. Cool and showery conditions for Finland and northern Norway.
Showers in the far northwest of Spain on Wednesday. Fair for the rest of Spain and Portugal with plenty of hot sunshine. More sunshine to come through the Balearics and across Sardinia and Corsica where it will also be very warm. Scattered showers in central Italy, some thunderstorms in the far north but otherwise fair. Greece and Turkey will have plenty of sunshine and should be dry.
Rain for western and northern France with the risk of some torrential storms in eastern and southern France. Thunderstorms breaking out across the Netherlands and much of Germany. Poland should be fair and sunny although there could be a few showers in the far west. Hungary should be dry and sunny but some showers in Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark will have some heavy rain showers, these affecting the far south ofNorway and southern Sweden too. The Baltic States should be dry and fine with lots of sunshine. More sunshine to come in Finland and across most of the rest of Sweden. Most of Norway should be fair with lots of sunshine here too.
