A deep area of low pressure brings chilly, windy conditions to northern Europe
A bright and dry day for much of Portugal and Spain. A slight chance of a coastal shower developing to the far northwest. Fair for Italy with showers over western coasts. A mostly dry, bright and cool day for Greece and Turkey. Cloud thickens over Greece through the day while eastern parts of Turkey could see isolated snow showers.
Strong winds with outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow for central and northern France, the Low Countries, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. Mostly dry but cloudy for southern parts of France.
Windy with frequent wintry showers for Denmark, Norway and Sweden, showers most common for western-facing coasts. Early rain clears east from Finland and the Baltic States leaving a windy day here too, also with frequent wintry showers.
A cloudy day across Iberia with outbreaks of rain along the northern coast of Spain. Dry and largely fine for Italy and Greece. A mostly fine day too for Turkey though there will be showers for southwestern areas and a band of rain arrives from the north later in the day.
Tuesday continues breezy for much of western and central Europe. Frequent wintry showers affect the Low Countries and northwestern parts of France and Germany. Snow for the Swiss and Austrian Alps. A band of, sometimes heavy, rain and snow showers clear east from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia while lighter showers follow for northern parts of Poland.
Breezy for southern parts of Norway and Sweden as well as Denmark with frequent wintry showers for western areas. Windy for Finland and the Baltic States where there will also be widespread wintry showers.
