Wet Mediterranean and Iberia, cold Scandinavia

Thursday
Heavy periods mof rain in northern Spain with frequent, heavy showers in western and southern parts of Portugal. Dry and fair in central and eastern Spain. Heavy rain in the central Mediterranean, extending through Italy and into western Greece. Eastern Greece should be fair with sunshine. Staying fair across Turkey too. A few showers in Cyprus.
Showers for southern and western parts of France. Showers too for the Netherlands and northern Germany. The rest of Germany will be dry with sunshine. Portugal will be breezy and chilly as wel as dry with sunny spells. More sunshine to come across Hungary and Austria with rain affecting Switzerland.
Breezy for Denmark with some showers. Staying breezy through the Baltic States. Rain and snow in Finland. There will be some sleet in southern Sweden but dry for the rest of the country. Snow showers in western Norway, some of these heavy.

Friday
Further rain affecting the northern coasts of Spain today. Fair for most of the rest of Spain and Portugal although some thundery showers may affect southeast Spain. Rain in Corsica and Sardinia with a few showers in the Balearics. More rain passing eastwards through Italy, heavy in the west. Showers in both western and eastern Greece, some of them heavy. Showers too for western Turkey but fair in central and eastern Turkey.
Rain affecting the north of France, some showers in the west. Further showers in centreal and southern parts. The Low Countries will have some heavy bursts of rain and strong winds. Poland will be dry and bright, buit some rain in the south. Heavy rain across Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Denmark will have cloud and some outbreaks of rain. Drizzle and coud in the Baltic States. Cold for Finland with snow in the east. Dry in Sweden and feeling cold. Snow showers in western Norway.
