Wet in Iberia and much of the Mediterranean, colder to the north


Wednesday
Heavy rain and strong winds affecting much of northern Portugal and Spain on Wednesday,. Snow affects hills and mountains. The Balearics will be breezy with the threat of some rain later. Wind and rain in Corsica and Sardinia with rain, sleet and snow affecting Italy. Greece will have rain in the west. Heavy showers in western Turkey where it will be windy, drier in the east.
Showers or longer spells of rain in western France, dry and windy in the east. Heavy showers or longer spells of rain in the Low Countries, this drifting into northern Germany, Southern Germany and Poland will be dry with sunny spells. A few snow showers in Hungary and Switzerland, rain, sleet and snow in Austria.
Breezy with sunny spells in Denmark. The Baltic State swill be cold with some sunny spells. Further bright spells in Finland where it will be chilly. Mostly dry in Sweden but breezy in the south. Breezy in much of Norway with some snow in the south.

Thursday
Wet in northern and western Spain on Thursday. The risk of moe snow on the hills. Fair for the balearics but breezy. Showers in western Italy, drier in the east. Greece will have some sunny spells but also some showers. Rain in Greece and across western and southern Turkey. Heavy showers or longer spells of rain affecting much of France, heaviest in the west. Breezy and mostly fair in the Low Countries, Germany and Poland should be dry with sunny spells. Sunshine to come in Hungary and Austria but some rain in the west of Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark, sunny spells here. Broken cloud in the Baltic States. Cold and fair for Finland as well as northern Sweden. Southern Sweden will have moe cloud and some snow showers. Mostly fair and cold in much of Norway, but some snow showers to the south.
