Rain in the central Mediterranean, better to the west


Thursday
A breezy but dry day in northern Spain. Elsewhere it will be dry with good spells of sunshine. The Balearics will be dry with more sunshine. Unsettled in Corsica and Sardinia as well as much of Italy with strong winds and rain here. Cloud and patchy rain in western Greece although dry to the east. Turkey should be dry with more sunshine.
Fair with good spells of sunshine in much of France. Cloudier to the far south with strong to gale force winds here. The Low Countries and much of northern Germany will be dry with lots of snushine. Periods of rain affecting the east and south of Germany as well as much of Poland. Switzerland, Austria and Hungary will be cloudy overall with some patchy rain.
Denmark will be bright and dry with good spells of sunshine. Cloud and rain in southern parts of Sweden. The Baltic States will be cloudy and damp although dry with sunny spells in Finland. Northern Sweden will be dry with sunny spells. Showery periods of rain in southern Norway but dry and bright to the north.

Friday
Rain in northwest Spain and northern Portugal on Friday. The rest of Spain and Portugal should be fair with sunny spells. A risk of some rain in the balearics. Wet again through Corsica and Sardinia with heavy showers in Italy. Fair with sunny spells in Greece and Turkey.
Cloud and some showers in the northwest of France but most of the country will be dry with sunny spells. The Low Countries and Germany should be dry and bright with good spells of sunshine. Cloud in Poland but it should be generally dry here. Further cloud and some rain in Switzerland and Austria, although Hungary should be dry with some sunny spells.
Denmark should be dry with sunny spells here. Bright too in the Baltic States with osme showers in Finland. Sweden and much of Norway should be bright and dryer, but some rain could affect northern Norway.
