Windy and wet in central Europe, fair to the south, cold in the north


Tuesday
The Mediterranean and southern Spain stays dry with sunshine. Further rain affects northwest Spain and extends through central France with persistent heavy falls reaching the western Alps. Mostly dry for Italy. Sunshine for Greece and previous rain clears eastwards over Turkey.
Unsettled and showery for northern-central Europe, from northern France to the Low Countries and northwest Germany. Rain continues for Denmark. Areas of rain extend into Poland. Drier for eastern Germany and Czechia.
High pressure to the north of Scandinavia brings dry and chilly conditions to much of Scandinavia, but some rain affects southern Sweden.


Wednesday
Rain in northwest Spain on Wednesday. Fair for much of the rest of Spain and Portugal. A fine day too in the Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica. Italy should be fair and dry too, a low risk of a shower in the south. Greece will be dry and sunny too with more warm and dry weather in Turkey.
Fine in France with good spells of sunshine. Rain and wind in the Low Countries with heavy showers affecting much of Germany. Cold for Poland, fair in the west but showers in the east. Hungary will be bright and cold. Austria and Switzerland will have showers, some of them heavy.
Rain in southern Denmark, fair in the north. The Baltic States will be cold with showers. Dry and cold in Finland but sunny spells here. Sunshine in Sweden and dry overall. Dry again in Norway and cold here but some snow showers in the far north.
