Showery and cool in central Europe, warmer and dry Mediterranean


Saturday
A fair day with some sunny spells in most of Spain and Portugal. A few showers in northern Spain with isolated showers in the east. Heavier, thundery showers for the Balearics. There will be some thunderstorms of rain in the northern half of Italy, but the south should be dry and sunny. Greece and Turkey will be dry with more sunshine and staying warm here too.
Heavy showers affecting much of France on Saturday. These may merge into longer spells of rain in the north. Heavy showers in the Low Countries and in western parts of Germany, but the east should be drier with fewer showers here. Poland sees rain to the south and east although heavy showers affect Switzerland and Austria as well as Hungary.
A few showers for Denmark, some of them heavy. Showers too in southern Sweden with cloud and some rain extending through the Baltic States and Finland. Norway will have a mix of sunny spells and showers.


Sunday
Plenty of sunshine fo most areas of Spain and Portugal but with showers in the north of Spain. Italy will be dry with sunny spells. Greece is going to have lots of sunshine and it will stay sunny in Turkey too.
Rain and showers in France and the Low Countries. Germany will have showers, some heavy and these will be affecting Poland as well. The showers troubling Austria and Hungary with more persistent showers and thunderstorms in Switzerland.
Cool in Denmark with sunny periods and a scattering of showers. Mostly fair in the Baltic States and Finland although feeling cold here. Chilly across Norway with sunny spells, although a few showers on the coasts.
