Cold with some snow in northern Europe, potentially very wet in parts of Spain

Monday
Another spells of heavy rain sweeps in across Spain and Portugal, heaviest toward the north and west, again with snow on the mountains. Thundery rain pushing southwards through the day, reaching the Balearics later. Areas of showers around coasts of Italy and the Balkans, snow in the mountains. Showery for western Greece. Drier for the Greek islands. Showery for Turkey and Cyprus.
A dry but cold day for most of France, the Low Countries and western Germany. Also a fine day for much of the Alps and into northern Italy. Some freezing fog possible. Areas of snow showers for eastern Germany and Poland. Some snow flurries for Hungary and Romania.
Strong winds around the Baltic Sea. Snow flurries affecting eastern Sweden and some heavier constant snow over the Baltic states advancing north into Finland. Dry and very cold across Norway and much of the far north of Scandinavia.

Tuesday
Heavy rain affects much of Iberia on Tuesday, especially southern areas. The Balearics should be fair with some sunny spells. Further rain in Italy, this heavy in the south. Greece will be fair too, again plenty of sunshine. Rain in western Turkey, heavy at times.
France will have rain and some snow in central and southern areas. Northern France should be dry and bright. The Low Countries will be bright with sunny spells. Germany and Poland will be fair but cold, more sunshine to come here. Hungary and Austria should both be fair but some rain and snow in Switzerland.
Denmark will be cold and dry with broken cloud. Snow and strong winds in the Baltic States as well as Finland. Further nor in northern and eastern Sweden but dry to the south. Cold and frosty in Norway, some snow showers in the north.
