Thundery, heavy rain moving into north Spain and France.


Friday
Still showery rain, heavy and possibly thundery, affecting northern parts of Portugal as well as across Spain on Friday. A few showers migrating over towards the Balearics too. Largely dry and fine elsewhere across the Mediterranean.
Largely dry across France and much of northern and central Europe, however, still windy towards the north of Germany and Poland with some scattered showers brushing coastal areas of Poland.
Windy once more across Denmark with some showers but also plenty of dry periods. Windy too for southern parts of Norway and Sweden with scattered showers. Rain across west Norway and north Sweden but mostly dry elsewhere. Some rain hitting western parts of Finalnd but drier further east.


Saturday
Thundery, heavy outbreaks of rain across nothern parts of Spain and Portugal. A few of these could reach western Balearic Islands, otherwise mainly dry here. Largely dry and fine across the rest of the Mediterranean still into the weekend.
France seeing thundery and heavy spells of rain moving into southern and central regions. The north staying mainly dry but clouding over. These showery bursts of rain will affect Switzerland later but Austria should remain largely dry. Dry though possibly rather cloudy across Belgium, perhaps better sunny spells through the Netherlands. Dry and fine across the rest of north and east Europe.
A brief dry spell on Saturday through much of Norway and Sweden, although northern regions seeing wind and some rain. Finland is rather cloudy with outbreaks of rain in places, more so further north and east. Dry and mostly fair across the Baltic States as well as Denmark.
