Heavy showers moving in to west Europe by Friday
Dry and fine with plenty of sunshine across Spain and Portugal today. Scattered showers across Italy should ease off through the day, though a few thundery, heavy showers are due to continue across Sicily. Largely dry and fine through Greece and Turkey.
North and west France seeing unsettled conditions with outbreaks of rain, though elsewhere here is dry, fine and feeling warm. Showery rain also affecting the Low Countries into north and northwest Germany. Elsewhere across Germany looks to stay fine. Dry and fine conditions across Austria and Switzerland into eastern Europe.
Another unsettled day for Denmark with rain and showers. Keeping with mixed conditions across the rest of Scandinavia, heavy rain and high winds through Finland and east Sweden. Heavy showers pushing northwards through the Baltics.
Outbreaks of rain move down on to northern Spain, heavy in places, as well as the far north of Portugal. Becoming locally gusty too. Dry with sunny spells further south. Mostly dry and fine across Italy and the islands including the Balearics. Greece and Turkey also remains dry with warm sunshine.
Turning unsettled across much of France, particularly further west, today. Much of the rain looks to clear the Low Countries and west Germany. Central and eastern Germany, though, will see showery rain. The odd shower across Austria and Switzerland otherwise dry and fine with plenty of sunshine. The Balkans will also stay dry. Some showery rain moving into west Poland.
