Pleasantly warm in southwest Iberia


Sunday
Fair for Portugal and much of central and southern Spain with plenty of sunshine. Some heavy showers around the Pyrenees and through the Balearics. Heavy rain in Corsica and Sardinia as well as northern Italy. Southern Italy should be dry with some sunny spells. Showers in the west of Greece but dry with sunshine in the east. Fine for Turkey with some good spells of sunshine.
Showery bursts of rain across much of France, most of this affecting central France. Fine and breezy in the Low Countries. Germany and Poland will be fair with some broken cloud and sunny spells. Some sunshine too in Hungary. Switzerland and Austria will have a mix of sunshine and showers.
High pressure over Scandinavia brings mainly dry weather, a brisk easterly breeze for the southern Baltic and Denmark. A strong southerly wind in western Norway, Some decent spells of sunshine.


Monday
Unsettled weather continues to affect the west and central Mediterranean with areas of heavy rain and thundery downpours for the Balearics, also pushing into northwest Italy and southeast France, perhaps some eastern coasts of Spain. Some heavy rain near to southern Italy and western Greece too. Most of Spain and Portugal will be dry, warm in the southwest.
Quiet weather for northern France, the Low Countries and Germany. High pressure over eastern Europe maintains fair conditions for many areas. The Baltic region stays dry whilst a front coming in from the west brings rain to western Norway accomanpied by strong winds across much of northern Scandinavia.
