Much of Europe unsettled with heavy showers
Showers in northern, eastern and southern Spain on Monday. The showers affecting much of Portugal too. Fair for the Balearics overall, although some showers cannot be ruled out. Corsica and Sardinia will have further showers and these could be heavy. Thundery, heavy showers in central and southern Italy, but drier and brighter in the north. Greece and Turkey will have widespread, thundery, torrential showers.
Showers in central and southern France, but fair in the north. The Low Countries will be bright and dry. Some showers in northern Germany but fair for other areas. Poland will be bright and dry with sunny spells. Hungary stays dry whilst a few showers develop in Austria. Further showers for Switzerland.
Cloud and some rain in Denmark. Fair for Sweden with lots of sunshine to come here. Further spells of sunshine and dry weather in the Baltic States. Finland will be bright and dry with more sunny spells here. Norway will be mostly dry and sunny, although some showers in the south.
A rather unsettled day for many across Spain with heavy, thundery showers, A few heavier showers affecting southern Portugal too. A few heavier showers Ibiza and Majorca while Menorca stays mostly dry. Sunny spells and showers for Italy and Greece, a few heavy and likely thunder. Rain easing across Turkey.
Windy across France and most dry though with the risk of showers in the south and east. Breezy yet dry and fine across the Low Countries into western Germany, showers further east with heavy showers in the far south on to Switzerland and Austria. Heavy and thundery showers also affecting south and west Poland. Drier elsewhere here.
Largely dry yet breezy across Denmark. Fine too through the Baltic States. Largely dry across Norway. Showers affecting Sweden and Finland.
