Heavy showers and rain Italy and central Europe, fair and breezy in eastern areas


Wednesday
Improving conditions across Iberia through Wednesday although with that said northern areas will see more rain come in at the end of the day. Brisk winds still across the Balearic Islands but gusts should ease here. Expect some morning showers but largely dry thereafter. Rain still affecting particularly the western side of Italy with sunny spells abut also blustery showers across the surrounding Italian islands. Thundery downpours across Greece with more cloud building over west Turkey but staying mainly dry here.
Some patchy rain in the south and east of France but mainly dry. More rain forecast to push into western areas later on. Brisk winds along southern coasts. Largely dry across the Low Countries but cloud looks likely to build later. Some rain across southern Germany. Largely dry elsewhere here. Patchy rain across Austria, Switzerland and northern Italy for a time but conditions should gradually improve. Spells of rain, some heavy and thundery, down the Balkan States. Dry across Poland.
Outbreaks of rain across some regions of south Norway but mainly dry elsewhere. Largely dry across Sweden too but with some patchy light rain in places. Mainly dry throughout Finland. A dry day but with a brisk easterly wind through the Baltic States. Starting dry for Denmark but spells of rain will move in later.

Thursday
Heavy periods of rain across Portugal and Spain. Further rain in the Balearics, Corisca and Sardinia. Heavy showers in western parts of Italy. Showers in western parts of Greece but fair in the east. Rain, heavy and thundery in western parts of Turkey, but fair to the east.
Showers in western France, fair for most of the country with some mist and fog patches too. Broken cloud and dry conditions in the Low Countries and Germany with some bright spells. Poland will be bright with some sunny spells. Some showers in Hungary and Austria. Drier in Switzerland.
Cloud and rain in Denmark. Breezy for the Low Countries with some outbreaks of rain. Dry and breezy in Finland, mild too. Southern Sweden may see some spots of drizzle and rain, but drier and brighter to the north. Mostly fair in Norway with sunny spells.
