Increasingly dry and settled for Scandinavia and central Europe, stormy in Iberia


Wednesday
A wet day for Portugal and western parts of Spain. Dry and fair in eastern Spain, the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Early afternoon showers will affect southern parts of Italy and western Greece. Staying mostly dry and bright in Turkey.
A mostly dry and fair day for France while scattered showers will affect the Low Countries. Showery too for southwestern Germany and western Austria but dry and mostly bright in central and eastern parts of Germany, Switzerland, eastern Austria and the Czech Republic.
Dry and mostly bright for Denmark and the Baltic States though cloud will build from the north in the Baltics through the afternoon. A fair and dry day for Finland while Sweden and Norway will see good spells of sunshine.

Thursday
A stormy day for Iberia as an area of low pressure triggers widespread heavy thundery showers for Portugal and Spain. A few scattered showers may reach the Balearics through the afternoon where it will be a rather overcast day. Dry and mostly bright for Corsica, Sardinia and Italy with a chance of an afternoon shower. Afternoon showers will affect much of Greece and Turkey too.
A dry and bright day for northeast France, the Low Countries and Germany. Southern and western parts of France will stay dry but may be rather cloudy. Showers for southern Switzerland and western Austria but otherwise dry and bright. Good spells of sunshine and dry weather too for Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
Mostly dry and bright across Denmark, the Baltic States, Finland, Sweden and Norway. High cloud may turn the sun hazy at times, particularly over Norway, central parts of Sweden and Finland, and the Baltics.
