Thundery downpours for Spain and the western Med.

Tuesday
Areas of thundery rain continue to affect southeastern Spain, whilst Portugal and central-northwest Spain stays largely dry. Showers also for the Balearics and across to southern Italy. Patchy rain for the southern Balkans, but much of Greece and Turkey will be dry and sunny. Fine across the eastern Mediterranean, including Cyprus.
Some rain across the southern half of France and a little rain too for northern Italy. Showers for the southern Alps, mainly Austria. Much of eastern Europe looks dry with variable cloud. High pressure extends over northern France, the Low Countries and Germany bringing a fine day with some morning fog patches. A fair day too for Poland.
Breezier for Scandinavia, with some showery rain for Denmark and the Baltic states. More persistent rain for Finland, but Sweden should escape more often dry. Also dry in southern Norway, but north and western areas will be wet and windy.

Wednesday
Areas of showers will be focused from southern Spain across the Pyrenees and southern France. Thundery downpours for the central Mediterranean may affect the Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica. Mainly dry for western Spain and Portugal. Local showers for central Italy. Showery too for the southern Balkans and mainland Greece, but the islands should be dry. Also fine across the eastern Med.
Dry and fine weather extends through northern France, the Low Countries and Germany, also Poland and the Czech Republic. Showery rain for the Alpine states. A few bursts of rain locally for Romania too.
Westerly breezes across Scandinavia bring rain or drizzle to Denmark and southern Sweden, whilst much of the Baltic region should be dry. A little patchy rain for Finland. Heavier rain and brisk winds for western Norway.
