Remaining rather unsettled across most areas with some severe storms possible through central areas of Europe.


Tuesday
During Tuesday and unsettled conditions prevail across much of Scandinavia where rain or showers are predicted, along with a developing cool N'ly breeze as well. These unsettled conditions will also push into more eastern areas of Europe, including Poland and surrounding areas of which will mean a change in the weather here after mainly dry conditions during previous days. Fair weather persists across the British Isles, but low pressure across much of France extending eastwards into Belgium, Switzerland and Germany does mean a further risk of some heavy and thundery downpours, perhaps with further localised severe weather too. Cool N'ly wind persists across Iberia bringing some showery weather, while much of the Med is very warm, if not hot, but with plenty of sunshine and with just a few afternoon thundery downpours in places.

Wednesday
Into Wednesday and a ridge of high pressure will topple down across the UK, France and into Spain and Portugal to bring about a drier and more settled day of weather, despite still some scattered showers for parts of France in particular. A region of distrubed weather will continue to move eastwards across parts of Italy and into some eastern regions of Europe where severe storms and longer spells of heavy rain is possible. Mainly dry weather is, however, forecast across Norway, Sweden and Finland despite some afternoon showers and rather cool here as well. Much of the Med will maintain very warm and humid conditions with some sunshine, but atmospheric pressure remains rather low so a scattering of heavy and thundery showers are possible from Italy eastwards.
