Heavy showers and rain across Scandinavia


Sunday
It stays mostly dry across the Mediterranean today as well as feeling hot thanks to the lasting sunshine. There is scope for one or two thunderstorms to develop later on across the far north of Greece and the odd isolated shower in northwest Italy.
Remaining dry and fine as well as hot for many through much of north and central parts of Europe, though the Balkan States could see a few heavier showers later.
Cloud thickening across southern Norway with rain and strengthening winds moving in here later. Drier further north. Largely dry across Sweden as well as Denmark and Finland with sunny spells. A few passing showers could affect the Baltics but mostly dry here too.


Monday
Some cloud and possible drizzle moving across north and northwest Spain. Dry through the rest of the Mediterranean with lasting sunshine and hot temperatures.
Cloud and any patchy rain clear northern and central France, the Low Countries with drier and brighter weather developng behind. Rain becomes heavier through central regions of Germany with far eastern areas here staying mostly dry until evening. Heavy showers affect Switzerland and western areas of Austria. Dry and fine across eastern Europe and the Balkan States.
Unsettled across Scandinavia with spells of rain as well as heavy showers about. Much of the heavier rain clears Denmark through the day while the Baltic States remain dry and warm with lasting sunshine throughout the day.
