Showers still affecting parts of Spain and Portugal and into far western areas of France by Saturday.
Shower risk developing across north and west Spain including Portugal. A few showers edging into central and eastern Spain later. The Balearics and much of Italy will be dry, fine and hot, though a continued shower risk remains across the far south of Italy and Sicily. Dry and sunny across Greece and Turkey.
A fine and hot day in France with lots of sunshine here. More sunshine and hot weather for the Low Countries and Germany. Eastern Europe is also continuing to benefit from the high pressure so Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria remain dry and sunny. One or two isolated showers possible in Switzerland later in the day, otherwise dry and fine along with Austria.
Denmark and the Baltics will have light breezes and dry, fine weather. Slightly breezier the further north you go in Finland, Sweden and Norway with the risk of some rain in northwest Norway, otherwise dry with sunny spells.
Staying unsettled across western regions of Spain, including across much of Portugal, with a high risk of showers here. Showers moving into some eastern regions later in the day. The Balearics and Italy look to remain dry and fine. Dry weather too for Greece. One or two developing showers in Turkey are possible.
More cloud across western France with the risk of some showers along western coasts here. Otherwise a dry day with sunshine. Remaining largely dry, fine and settled across the rest of Europe thanks to high pressure, though again the odd isolated showers in Switzerland cannot be completely ruled out.
The high pressure continues to extend across Denmark and the Baltics allowing for dry and sunny weather here. Breezier across Finland and Sweden but it looks to stay mostly dry. Showery rain affecting some western areas of Norway, otherwise dry here too.
