Some rain and snow eastern Europe
Thursday High pressure stays in charge with dry weather prevailing across the heart of the continent. Staying warm for Spain and Portugal, up to 19C. Mild in southern France at 14C, cooler toward the north and also the Low Countries, only 5C. Dry with light winds for Alpine areas. Some murk and fog. The Mediterranean is generally dry and sunny. Windy with a risk of some rain for Cyprus. Patchy rain moves across Poland, whilst snow is likely for western Ukraine. Showery for western Norway. Chilly around the Baltic and far north of Scandinavia, although less cold than recent times.
Friday High pressure centred around the Bay of Biscay keeps west and central Europe dry with quiet weather conditions. Pleasantly warm for Spain and Portugal, close to 20C in the south-west. Some fog and low cloud for the Low Countries and Germany, but some sunshine too. A fresher breeze for the Alps and southern France. Patchy rain and snow for eastern Poland and western Ukraine. Italy, the Balkans and Greece will be dry with sunshine. Largely dry for Scandinavia, although rain and mountain snow moves into western Norway later.
