Mainly hot and dry across the Med. Thundery downpours across central Europe on Friday. Turning drier and more settled in the north.


Thursday
A largely dry and hot day across Spain although some thundery showers do pop up over central northern areas. Staying dry, hot and sunny for Portugal, the Balearics as well as Siciliy. Some scattered showers developing over Italy come the afternoon but mainly dry. Another dry and hot day across Turkey and Greece.
Largely dry and hot across France although southern parts will see more in the way of cloud and some light rain. A dry and fine day across the Low Countries and Germany. Dry across much of Poland although it will be windy and wet in the far northeastern coasts. Some rain still across Austria and the Czech Republic.
Mixed weather continuing across Scandinavia. Rain mainly affecting central and southern areas of Sweden, Norway and Finland with the northern regions staying mostly dry. Brisk west to southwesterly winds across the Baltic States with outbreaks of rain about.

Friday
A dry and hot day is expected across Spain and Portugal although there may be more in the way of cloud across northwestern regions. Dry and hot throughout the Balearics but with some scattered showers developing over ltaly. Staying mainly dry, fine and hot over Siciliy however. A dry, sunny and hot day is expected across Turkey and Greece.
Largely dry and feeling hot across France although thundery downpours are likely to pop up across northern and central areas later on in the day and overnight. Dry and fine across the Low Countries and Germany with dry and fine weather continuing across much of Poland although northeastern parts still hanging on to some rain. Thundery showers across Austria and Switzerland once again today and these will extend into Croatia and Hungary.
High pressure begins to build in across southern and western parts of Norway and Sweden seeing largely dry and fine conditions across here. Further north there could be more in the way of sunny spells and showers. Finland will see largely cloudy skies with patchy light rain about but many places staying dry. Rain should clear to the east across the Baltic States and winds should gradually ease.
