Heating up across southern Scandinavia
Widespread thundery, heavy showers develop across northern Spain and Portugal, southern areas staying mainly dry. One or two showers could affect the Balearics though mostly dry and fine here. Thunderstorms breaking out across central and southern Italy as well as across Sicily. Largely dry through Greece and Turkey though the odd local shower cannot be completely ruled out.
High pressure extends over northern-central Europe, bringing lots of dry and sunny weather here again today. Temperatures reaching into the mid to upper 30s across southern and western France into the Low Countries and parts of Germany. Cooler across eastern Spain and Poland.
Windy and wet with heavy rain across northern Norway into northwest Sweden. Elsewhere across Norway and Sweden will be dry with sunny spells and feeling warm across southern areas. Windy though mainly dry for Finland. Dry, fine and warm across the Baltics and Denmark with temperatures into the mid 20s here.
Lower risk of showers across Spain and Portugal today with most places staying dry and fine. Still local thundery showers breaking out across parts of Italy but most will be dry and fine. Thunderstorms developing across mainland Greece though the islands look to be mostly dry and sunny. Largely dry and hot through Turkey.
One or two local showers developing in the far south of France, otherwise dry and sunny. Dry throughout most northern European countries thanks to high pressure, though western regions of Austria will see local heavy showers, drier further east here.
Heat creeping across Scandinavia and now southern Finland expected to see temperatures reach into the high 20s. Dry and fine for much of Scandinavia thogh still more cloud and some rain for northern Norway. Windy across northern parts of Scdninavia, lighter winds further south. Dry, sunny and very warm too across the Baltic states and Denmark.
