High temperatures across northern Europe

Monday
Hot across Spain and Portugal with lots of sunshine. The Balearics remain fine, whilst a few showers trouble northern Corsica. Italy should be largely fair with sunshine although some thunderstorms may affect the far northwest. Showers in northern Greece but fair for most of the country. Heavy showers in northern Turkey although most of the country should be dry and sunny.
France should be mostly fair in western areas but some torrential storms breaking out in central and eastern areas. The Low Countries will be hot with sunshine but a risk of local storms. A few showers in eastern Germany. The western half of Germany stays fair with sunshine here. Heavy, thundery showers in Poland as well as eastern Hungary and into Romania. The rest of Hungary and Austria will be dry, although some showers in western Switzerland.
Denmark will have some cloud and showery bursts of rain. Sunshine and scattered showers in the Baltic States. Plenty of dry, sunny and warm weather across Scandinavia, mostly dry for Finland, but some thundery rain breaking out for southern Sweden. Largely dry for Norway, some showers, mainly toward the north.

Tuesday
Most of Spain and Portugal will by hot and dry. Cooler for northern Iberia with some rain. The Mediterranean islands will be generally sunny and dry. Central Italy has a risk of thunderstorms forming. Greece and Turkey look dry and sunny.
Heavy rain moves into western France, whilst intense thunderstorms form over southwestern France and advance eastwards later. Some showers and late thunderstorms for Switzerland, but Austria stays generally dry. Fair weather across Germany, hot with temperatures into the 30s for many places. A few showers for the Belgium and the Netherlands, but much of the day will be dry.
Thundery showers scattered across eastern Europe, including Poland and Romania, whilst Czechia and much of Hungary will be mainly dry. Heavy rain affects Norway and moves into southern Sweden. Very warm around the Baltic, up to 30C for southern Sweden and Finland. Risk of thunderstorms for central Finland.
