Intense heat continues through much of Europe.


Wednesday
Largely dry, hot and sunny weather continues across the Mediterranean, though there is the risk of one or two isolated showers developing across southern Italy and western parts of Greece.
Dry, hot weather also continues across northern and central parts of Europe. More cloud cover down eastern European counties with the risk of some scattered showers affecting eastern regions of Poland.
Becoming more unsettled across Scandinavia with heavy rain, thundery in places, across northern and central areas of Norway and Sweden. Gusty winds across southern areas here though looking to stay mostly dry. Heavier rain in places across western Finland too but drier in the east here. A fairier day across the Baltics. Dry with variable cloud and a brisker wind through Denmark.


Thursday
Hot and dry conditions prevail across southern Europe and the Mediterranean, just the small risk of a developing showers across northwest Spain later.
Dry and hot still across France as well as the Low Countries into many parts of Germany, though there is the risk of some showers further southeast here. Heavy showers affecting the Czech republic pushing into the very far south of Poland. Mostly dry across the rest of Poland, though northern coasts seeing some showery rain. Dry and hot through the Balkans and the rest of eastern Europe.
Some rain over Denmark initially but this will soon clear to dry weather and sunny spells though windy. Showery rain to affect the Baltic States still with showers pushing into southern Sweden. Heavy rain and gusty winds across north Norway and north Sweden. Scattered showers through Finland.
