Heavy rain associated with thunderstorm across much of France

Wednesday
Thundery showers across northern parts of Spain. Further showers in north Portugal but drier further south. The rest of Spain should be bright and dry with sunny spells. Corsica and Sardinia will be fine with sunny spells and dry too. Italy will have more sunshine and should be remaining dry. Greece will be dry with sunshine and will be warm.
Thunderstorms or longer periods of rain in central and southern France. Dry in the far north with sunny spells. The Low Countries will be fair too with some sunshine here. Germany should be mostly fine and sunny, although some thundery rain in the south. Poland will be dry with plenty of sunshine, Most of Hungary remains fair, although thunderstorms in the west. Austria and Switzerland will see further thunderstorms and rain.
Denmark will be fine with sunshine throughout the day. The Baltic States will be dry with plenty of sunshine. Dry weather too in the Baltic States, more sunshine here. Sweden should be dry, again with sunny spells. Wind and rain affecting western Norway.

Thursday
Thundery showers contineu across north Spain and northern regions of Portugal though elsewhere is expected dry and fine with sunny spells. The odd shower may just affect the Balearics but mainly dry here with sunny spells. Dry too for Italy and the islands. Mostly dry across Greece but showers expected towards the north and east, some thundery. Heavy showers across parts of Turkey.
Thunderstorms associated with torrential downpours are expected to develop again today more widely across France up into the Low Countries. Sunny spells and showers for Switzerland but largely dry across Austria. Dry with sunshine across Germany, Poland and the rest of eastern Europe.
Dry and fine across Denmark as well as the Baltic States. Much of Sweden is dry with sunny spells though windier towards the far north. Outbreaks of rain across northern Norway, dry further south. Windy with some rain across north Finland too but again drier in the south here.
