Scattered thundery, heavy showers across Spain and Portugal
Saturday Staying unsettled across western regions of Spain, including across much of Portugal, with a high risk of showers here. Showers moving into some eastern regions later in the day. The Balearics and Italy look to remain dry and fine. Dry weather too for Greece. One or two developing showers in Turkey are possible. More cloud across western France with the risk of some showers along western coasts here. Otherwise a dry day with sunshine. Remaining largely dry, fine and settled across the rest of Europe thanks to high pressure, though again the odd isolated showers in Switzerland cannot be completely ruled out. The high pressure continues to extend across Denmark and the Baltics allowing for dry and sunny weather here. Breezier across Finland and Sweden but it looks to stay mostly dry. Showery rain affecting some western areas of Norway, otherwise dry here too.
Sunday Scattered showers across Portugal and Spain, locally heavy further north. A few showers drifting on to the western Balearic islands later. Staying dry in Menorca. A dry and fine day across Italy and Greece. A shower risk later in southern Turkey. Northwestern areas of France will again see a few scattered showers pass through, otherwise a dry day with sunny spells. Locally heavy and possibly thundery showers affecting southern areas of Switzerland into the far west of Austria, otherwise dry here. Dry, fine and sunny across the Low Countries, Germany, Poland and all of eastern Europe as they continue to sit under the influence of high pressure. The high pressure continues to extend across Denmark and the Baltics allowing for dry and sunny weather here. Much of Finland, Sweden and Norway will be dry thanks to the high, though the far north of Norway sees windier conditions and some showery rain.
