Mostly dry in the west, cold and windy in the east with some sleet and snow

Thursday
Some showers affecting the north of Spain on Thursday. Fair for the rest of the country and Portugal. Scattered showers in the Balearics but long spells of sunshine too. One or two showers developing in Corsica and Sardinia. Heavier showers over central Italy, but dry and col in the north, drier to the south too. The showers affecting western reece although dry and sunny in the east. Fair for mot of Turkey although there will be a few showers in the west.
Cold with some showers in northeast and eastern France. Dry and sunny to the west. Cold and windy through the Low Countries and Germany with rain followed by showers, some of them wintry. Rain in central and southern Poland, but windy with showers to the north. Some rain and sleet in Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Windy and cold with scattered wintry showers for Denmark, Further sleet and snow in the Baltic Stes and windy. Snow, some of it heavy for Finland, although windy, cold and dry for much of Sweden. Heavy and frequent snow showers affecting western and northern Norway.

Friday
A dry day in Spain and Portugal. Good spells of sunshine throughout the da. Some cloud and rain in the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. An unsettled day in Italy with periods of rain, some of this heavy and thundery in the east. Further rain for western Greece but drier in the east. Turkey will have some cloud and rain in the west and south, this is going to be heavy ay times too.
Dry and cool in France, some bright or sunny spells here, the best in the west. Cold again across the Low Countries and Germany with showers here, some heavy and wintry. Cold and windy in Poland, some showers in the north. Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland will be bright with some sunny spells, and dry here too.
Breezy in Denmark, bright and cold. Snow showers and windy weather for the Baltic States. More persistent snow in Finland, gales here too. Cool for Sweden and bright. Some rain in western parts of Norway, this turning to sleet.
