Wet Italy, murky in central Europe


Tuesday
A better day to come across Iberia today and much warmer across southern Spain. It should be mainly dry but some heavy showers are expected across the south of Portugal. A warm day as well across the Balearics into Italy where it will be dry and sunny. An area of heavy rain is expected across the Baltic States into the north of Poland and across much of Germany. Some heavy showers to affect the south east of France otherwise fair and dry.
Cold across Norway but mainly dry. Expect rain for Sweden with an area of snow across Finland and north west Russia. Lots of dry weather with sunny spells across the Adriatic Region and the Balkans. Fine and dry acrossTurkey. Strong easterly winds will prevail through the Straits of Gibraltar and it continues windy across the Aegean.


Wednesday
A few showers in eastern Spain today, but most of the country should be fair with good spells of sunshine. Remaining fair across Portugal too. Fair for the Balearics and for the far south of Italy, but much of central and northern Italy will be wet. Plenty of sunshine for Greece and much of Turkey.
Morning fog affects much of France, although this clears to sunny spells. Murky to first thing in the Low Countries and Germany, although this mist and murk should lift. Some sunny spells and dry for Poland as wel as the Czech and Slovak Republics. Austria and Hungary should be dry although some rain may affect Switzerland.
Broken cloud but mostly dry in Denmark. Showers in the Baltic States and Finland. Sweden should be dry overall with sunny spells. Rain and stronger winds affecting western Norway during the day.
