A very cold day from the Adriatic region eastward into Russia to include Turkey with sub zero maximum temperatures. An area of heavy rain to affect England, Belgium, The Netherlands, northern parts of France and northern parts of Iberia. A dry day to come across southern parts of Spain and Portugal as well as across southern France. A chilly but dry and mostly sunny day across Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic. Very cold across The Adriatic Region, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland and Hungary. Outbreaks of snow are forecast across the Ukraine, Russia, the Baltic States into Finland, Sweden and Norway with rain for Denmark. Cold across Greece with a few snow flurries. Heavy showers will affect the central and eastern Mediterranean.



Monday
The very cold weather continues across eastern parts of Europe today. An area of heavy snow is expected across Finland, Russia, The Baltic States and the far north of Poland and Germany. Heavy rain is expected across England, the Low Counties, the rest of Germany and northern France with lighter rain across northern parts of Spain and Portugal. Another dry day across southern parts of Iberia. Fine and dry from the Balearics eastward into Italy, Austria and across The Adriatic Region and the Balkans. Dry and very cold across Turkey. Snow is likely across the western Ukraine into Belarus. Very cold but dry and sunny across Norway and Sweden.
