Becoming more unsettled in western Europe but dry and sunny to the east


Wednesday
Rain and outbreaks of rain through Portugal and Spain today, most in the west and north. The Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia should be mostly dry and sunny, and it should stay dry and warm in Italy too. Greece should be dry with more sunshine and southern Turkey should be dry and warm.
Western and southern France will have some rain, with dry weather to the north. The Low Countries and Germany should be dry with sunny spells. Cloud and some rain affecting northern Germany but dry to the south. Hungary, Switzerland and Austria should be dry with sunny spells.
Rain for Denmark and southwest Norway. This rain also affecting the baltic States. Finland will have a few showers whilst most of Sweden have a mix of sunshine and scattered showers. Most dry in northern Norway with sunny spells here.


Thursday
A showery day in Spain and Portugal. The showers will be heavy and thundery at times in the north and west. More southern and eastern areas should be drier with sunny spells. Scattered showers in the Balearics and across northern Italy too. Southern Italy should be dry with sunny spells. A fine day to come in Greece and Turkey with lots of sunshine here.
Wetter in France as a band of rain passes eastwards. The rain reaches the Low Countries and Switzerland into the afternoon. Germany may have a few showers and these could affect Poland too. Hungary and Austria are going to be dry with sunny spells.
Denmark will be breezy and mostly dry with sunny spells. Scattered showers developing in the Baltic States. Finland should be mostly dry with sunny spells although an odd shower forming in the afternoon. Sweden should be bright and mostly dry and staying similar in Norway.
