Staying hot in the Mediterranean, but showers to the east


Friday
A hot day again over Spain and Portugal. Staying fine too for the Balearics although some thundery showers breaking out in Italy. Torrential thunderstorms developing in a hot Greece too. Turkey should be very warm and mostly dry with sunshine, although a few showers in the far south.
Fine and sunny for much of France and the Low Countries. Showers in northern and eastern Germany as well as Germany with sunny spells in between. Some thundery showers over Austria and Hungary although Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells.
Low pressure brings some showers in Denmark, a few heavy. Rain in southern Sweden and parts of the Baltic States but sunny spells and drier weather in Finland. Showers for Norway, some of them heavy at times inland.


Saturday
A hot day again over Spain and Portugal on Saturday. The fair weather persists through the balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will have heavy and thundery showers. Greece is going to be dry with plenty of sunshine. Staying mostly fair in Greece although an odd heavy shower later.
France should be fine and dry, again with a lot of sunshine. Brisk winds to the south. The Low Countries will be dry with more sunshine to come here. It stays fine through Germany and Poland, again with sunny spells. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells.
Denmark should be dry with sunny spells. The Baltic States remain dry with good spells of sunshine. A few showers for Finland and Sweden, but some sunny spells too. Norway will be fair with sunny spells, but some cloud and rain to the west.
