Showers for the Eastern Mediterranean, heavy snow Turkey

Today
High temperatures will be below freezing from eastern Poland into a bitterly cold Russia. A wet day across Britain today with heavy rain. Across Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark along with western Germany it will be dry with sunny spells. Some rain is expected across eastern Germany with outbreaks of snow across southern Poland into Belarus, The Ukraine and southern Russia. Mainly dry across the Adriatic Region into most of Greece and Bulgaria. Rain and snow is forecast across Romania. Lots of showers are likely across the eastern Mediterranean. Mostly cloudy across Italy with a few spots of rain. Eastern Turkey is colder with rain and snow, largely dry in the west. Cold across Scandinavia with snow flurries across Norway and Sweden but dry for Finland.

More rain is in the forecast across England and this extends into the Low Countries into northern parts of Germany and southern Sweden. Dry across Norway and northern Sweden with sunny skies for Finland. Most of France should be fair and dry, Mostly sunny and dry across Portugal, Spain, Italy and across the Adriatic Region and most of the Balkans. A few showers to come around coastal Greece but dry inland. A cold, windy, wintry day across Turkey with heavy snow. Sunny and dry across Romania, The Ukraine into the Czech Republic and Austria. A cloudy day with light rain across Poland. Fine today across the Baltic States. It continues freezing across eastern Europe.
